Yeah, the end is quickly approaching. Here is a whole status update, for anyone that reads this:

I'll be taking JPN next quarter along with 2 Maya classes. I may post some 3D work of mine in my gallery once I feel more confident with the program. My models are still a hassle most days. Still working on a game project with friends.

Art Stuff:
Sailor Marionette Project - Venus is next, and then on to the remaining scouts. If anyone wants the originals once I finish them of the remaining scouts, let me know. Venus is claimed, but the rest are free.

Coloring obsession - I like to color line art. Have line art? Send me a link. Please. I get so bored. And coloring is my relaxation.

Other:

I want Christmas.

It's been a month or so since my last journal entry. I figured it was time for a happier entry.

College has been going well. I'm working on finishing up a 3D character model and rigging her for animation. She'll be one of the main characters in a game I am working on with 5 other people. I was reminded how much I love modeling in Maya, even if the program gets buggy. I'm also in a 2D animating class. It's been interesting.

Otherwise nothing much is new. Still working on the Sailor Senshi pictures as I have time. The order is as follows:

So everyone has those moments that simply aren't fun, for one reason or another. I've been having a few of them lately.

First and foremost, I'm single again. My boyfriend broke up with me recently, and though it had to happen, that doesn't make things any easier on me. We're not on good terms either, which is rather bothersome as I see him on a current game project and twice a week in class.

Second, I had to drop the art class I was excited for. As it turns out, the art class was more like a Nazi camp, and well, quite ridiculous. I am on my own again. I was excited to have my first art class since 5th grade, but now I'm back to self taught. So if you find any rocking tutorials, send them my way.

On a brighter note, I am excited for my other classes (Advanced Japanese, 2D Animation, and Technology and Entrepreneurship). I have a new apartment, and already my desk is overrun with markers and the like. I have been on a Sailor Moon kick lately (Draw me Sailor Mercury and I will love you forever!). I liked the Marionette idea with Mercury so much I am now currently working on Sailor Saturn. Then Sailor Jupiter. Eventually, I would like all of the scouts drawn, that way I could Photoshop them together onto a stage, or something similar.

The Sailor Scouts project is also a new art style for me. I have been experimenting with a more realistic approach to the characters rather than my typical anime style. I am also using stock images to help practice drawing complex poses. So if you have a suggestion for a pose for a particular scout, let me know.

Anyway, that's about it. Thanks for everyone who has favorited my stuff and watched me. It really makes my day and encourages me to draw more often.

Alright, so I managed to get into a very basic art class this Fall. I am super excited though. The last time I had an art class was 5th grade, and I'm 20. So, it's been awhile.

I don't care if it's basic or advanced, I just am excited to finally receive lessons that will help me improve!

If I like the stuff I draw, I'll post it here.

Also returning to Japanese class, which is exciting as well.
